"Palestinian chic" was all the rage at the rally: wearing Palestinian-themed scarves, shirts, clothing and flags announces to the world that you are a true revolutionary hipster. Here are a few examples:
Palestinian flags were everywhere -- by far the most common meme at the rally (even more common than the "Stop the 9-11 Cover-Up" signs). If you stood in the middle of the crowd, here's what you would have seen:
Even the speakers' platform was decorated with a Palestinian flag (and, oddly, what appears to be a Haitian flag as well).
